Grouped projects for Improved cookstove for climate and community action
Tuyen Quang Province, Vietnam
The project aims to distribute 21,000 energy-efficient improved cooking stoves to wood-fuel-using households in Tuyen Quang Province, Viet Nam, reducing deforestation, GHG emissions, and indoor air pollution while improving livelihoods and quality of life..
Housing Decarbonisation in the United Kingdom
England and Wales
The project aggregates and manages the decarbonisation of individual dwellings across the United Kingdom by incentivising and verifying energy efficiency and heating upgrades, reducing fossil fuel and electricity-related emissions and generating verified voluntary carbon credits under the VM0008 methodology.
A-Gas South Africa ODS Collection and Destruction Project
Olifantsfontein, South Africa
The project involves the collection, transport, and TEAP-approved destruction of ozone-depleting substances from facilities across South Africa, preventing their release and avoiding associated greenhouse gas emissions.
CO2 Sequestration at a Swiss Concrete Recycler using the Neustark Technology
Switzerland
The purpose of this Gold Standard Voluntary Microscale Project of Activities (VPA) is to fight climate change by reducing the atmospheric CO2 concentration through the permanent storage of biogenic CO2 in demolition concrete. The proposed project activity sequesters biogenic CO2 in concrete aggregate through direct mineral carbonation in a neustark plant. The CO2 is supplied by biomass treatment plants.
Safe drinking water for households, institutions and communities
Nepal
This VPA provides safe drinking water through the installation of water purification systems, avoiding the use of carbon-intensive fuels for water treatment, reducing future GHG emissions, and delivering health and climate benefits using low-emission grid electricity.
